Jakob Daniel and Everleigh Grace Hall

Jakob's daycare had their art show on Thursday evening, so after he woke up from his nap, he and I met Dan there.  Jakob was very proud to show us his work, and he enjoyed having some snacks along the way.  We also had fun strolling through the baby room where he spent 6 months before transitioning to the toddler room, and we checked out the preschool room where he'll go in a couple of months.  He had lots of art hanging around the room, so I picked a few to showcase here. Not much in there Tractor! Where are the syrup samples?   Mmmm!!! I can't pick just one grade of syrup to call my favorite.  I liked them all. "More!"

Last weekend was the maple syrup open house weekend in Huntington.  Unfortunately old man winter has stuck around, which is annoying on lots of levels, including the fact that practically no sap has been running yet.  But that didn't stop us from going to a pancake breakfast Saturday morning to support the local boy scouts or to two different sugar houses.  Despite large quantities of syrup, Jakob still took a great nap that day! I'm killing time with my cars while I wait for the boy scouts to deliver my pancakes and sausage This is one of my favorite books right now because it has a train, animals, and great colors I need to be up and moving or I'll get too hungry I can see the school bus from this window, just like home! My wish is for Daddy to blow out the candles so I can eat some cake Yay for Daddy's birthday and this frosting! That piece is yours.  I'll eat the rest. YUMMY! Less pictures.  More cake. I'm eliminating the middle man in the cake eating process It's a messy job, but somebody's got to do it No more frosting = No more interest in eating cake

I'm helping Mommy decorate Daddy's birthday card envelop How do I find the words to capture the proper sentiment?   I'll leave the words to Hallmark and do some scribbling Daddy got a big stack of lovely birthday cards! Mommy and I are going to bake a cake.  Yellow cake with chocolate frosting...Daddy's favorite!

All 4 Gilmans and the 3.5 Halls had a wonderful dinner last Saturday night! Graham and I love all these play dates we've been having lately I want to go outside, Daddy Graham and I aren't afraid of a few snowflakes But maybe we would like our jackets and hats That's more like it Playtime in the snow! All that fresh air got us hungry for dessert Brownies and ice cream...good combo But nothing is as good a combo as my best friend and me I think you're Grahamtastic
