Jakob's First Tee Ball Practice

It was just as cute as I had hoped it would be!  They have seven kids on the team, all four or five years old and starting kindergarten in the fall.  One of his best buddies from school, Gabe, is on the team, and Gabe's dad is the head coach.  All the kids had stretches of listening well and not listening at all, and they each had some athletic successes and some...less than successes?  Good tries?  :-)  At one point Jakob caught a ball that was tossed to him, and he was so proud.  He turned to look at me, and he was telling his friends and teachers about it this morning at drop off.  They've got their first game on Saturday morning after opening ceremonies, so that should be a blast as well.  Everleigh really wanted to be a part of the action, but she had almost as much fun running around the park and finding dogs to pet.  Let's go, Team Lake Monsters 3!
