Jakob said he wanted trucks at his party, so I went with his suggestion and used Tonka trucks as the theme. Considering how many truck toys we have and how many little boys were invited, this was easy and fun. I got a little carried away with the cake, but the kids loved it. When we brought it out, Jakob immediately grabbed one of the trucks and started bulldozing the frosting. And speaking of frosting, Graham hilariously reached his hand down and grabbed a handful of cake...my kind of eating style! It was such a fun party, and the kids were perfectly behaved. We are so lucky to have such a loving, supportive group of friends for Jakob to grow up with!

Let's see if my Tonka truck balloon is as indestructible as a Tonka truck (it wasn't.) |
