Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce my absolutely gorgeous niece, Mackenzie Musson Hall! This beautiful baby was born on March 4th, and she stole our hearts from the first moment we learned she entered the world.
When she was first born, Jakob called her "Baby Cousin." He now calls her Kenzie, which is as adorable as she is. He and Dan went to New York to meet Mackenzie in person the weekend of March 28th. According to Dan, Jakob was just as tender and loving with Mackenzie as he was with Everleigh when she was born, and he "wasn't even playing wildly anywhere near her." That really says something, as he loves to get his energy out when he plays.
Everleigh and I stayed home that weekend because we were both recovering from our sleepless weekend in CT the week before, but I'm chomping at the bit to get a chance to hold her in a few weeks. Welcome to the world (and this blog,) Mackenzie!
