Camping at Waterbury Res. and Ben & Jerry's

Back in August, we took the kids camping at the Waterbury Reservoir.  The Gilmans visited for a day, and it was one of my favorite days of all time.  The kids had so much fun swimming, boating, fishing, riding bikes, swinging, and being silly.  They slept relatively well (although I didn't, thanks to Everleigh's desire to snuggle all night) and would have happily stayed for more than four nights.

One day, we went out to lunch in Waterbury and then to Ben & Jerry's.  The place was mobbed because it was a gorgeous day, but the treats were worth the wait.  Jakob opted for strawberry, and as you can clearly see, Everleigh chose chocolate.  She was so incredibly covered in ice cream (these pictures were taken near the beginning of the cone and don't do the mess justice) that complete strangers came up to me with napkins, and just about everyone in the very long line was watching her and laughing.  They were the epitome of happy campers!
