Sledding at the Round Church

There's a hill at the Round Church in Richmond that lots of kids use for sledding.  It's big enough to be exciting for little ones, but not so big as to be dangerous or terrifying (or too exhausting for the parents that have to drag their kids up the hill time after time).  Jakob was a lot less certain that he wanted to try sledding when we arrived, and he would only go down the hill if Dan went with him.  This led to Dan blowing up the tube after every other run, because it definitely wasn't designed to hold that much weight.  Jakob HATED it when they got to the bottom of the hill and some powder flew up into his face, but once he got over that shock, he was willing to walk around on the bottom of the hill and go on a few more runs.

Everleigh and I watched most of the action from the top of the hill, but Dan took her down with him once.  She didn't seem to have an opinion of it, but I'm sure by next winter when she sees Jakob doing it more often, she'll want her fair share of turns!

I CHANGED MY MIND!  I AM NOT READY!
What a lovely morning for watching some snowy sports
Off we go!
