Dan's favorite team, the Pittsburgh Penguins, made it through to the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs over the weekend. Their win was well-timed, as our current Pittsburgh connection - Travis and Jaimie - sent Jakob a great birthday gift. Add that to his first time having pancakes (with Gramp's syrup, of course) and you've got a happy little man!
