Merry Christmas!  We hope Santa has been good to all of you! Last Saturday we took Jakob to Grandma Janelle's preschool to listen to the Polar Express and see Santa.  Jakob was initially very shy with the children, but he slowly warmed up and made a couple of friends.  When Santa walked in, Jakob looked at him with a wide open mouth and a look of awe.  He looked at Santa, looked at me, and then pointed to what he was wearing.  You can see from the pictures below why Jakob was surprised by Santa's appearance. I've heard Santa comes down the chimney.  When I'm dressed like Santa, I like to use the stairs. Is it naughty to jump on the bed? It's not naughty...it's fun!! This year, we decided to do Christmas in Vermont.  Therefore, we're doing some traveling to see family before and after the holidays.  Over the past weekend, we went down to CT to see my side of the family and some of our CT friends. KJ was back from San Diego, and we packed as much excitement into all of Jakob's waking moments as possible.  We'll miss Christmas Eve and Christmas day in CT like we've been doing every year before now, but we're also looking forward to starting our family tradition. This doesn't quite feel right, but I like it anyway Grandma and I are enjoying some berries for a snack I'm a music maker Stella and I are sharing puzzle pieces with baby Max Stella got me an excellent Christmas gift!  Thank you! Ride 'em cow boy! Hi pretty lady.  Mind if I share that chair with you? I'm going to sit whether she likes it or not, hehehe Auntie is giving me a lime, and you know how I like tart citrus!

Today I'm a penguin! It's eyes wiggle when I move Holden doesn't look too impressed with my attempts at jumping, but I like how it makes the eyes wiggle, so I'm going to keep doing it

Every year we get together with our great Vermont friends to celebrate ThanksFriendsMas, a combination of the holidays Thanksgiving and Christmas.  The Gilmans host, and everyone brings a dish or two to share.  The food was top notch again this year, and Jakob and Graham spent the night playing perfectly. I'm dressed and ready to party This is the greatest fire truck I've ever seen I need to take a water break after chasing Graham around Some of us menfolk are watching Chuck the Truck before dinner Great, now I'm in my PJs too! Nothing beats a yellow bus We've been such good boys all night I'm checking out both sets of wheels

This shirt says "Here comes trouble."  I don't like what you're implying. Okay, you want trouble?  I'll give you trouble.  I'll roar like the dinosaur on my shirt! Okay, no more roaring.  But please can I have a snack? Mmm, I like the juice that comes with my tangerines Snack is over, which makes me a happy, trouble-free dinosaur
