Before getting our beer stash, we stopped at the Cabot Annex in Waterbury for some cheese, syrup, and mustard samples. Yum!

Meeting Baby Ethan
On Thursday, Jakob and I went to a bakery in Bristol, Vermont to meet up with a friend who has a 7 week old baby. She and I had met up at the same bakery over the summer when Jakob was just 6 weeks old and she was pregnant with Ethan! He's super cute, and I'm sure Jakob is looking forward to playing with him when he's a bit bigger. Why are we having cereal when they have so many delicious looking treats in the cooler behind me? People watching is fun Hanging with my new buddy

Jakob is loving his bouncer! He's hilarious to watch when he's in it, because he gets such a serious look on his face when he's playing, and he refuses to straighten out his legs and instead just dangles in the seat. Tomorrow we've got his four month doctor's appointment. I'm certain they're going to say he's healthy and doing a great job growing and developing, but like last time, I'm so nervous for his shots. Keep your fingers crossed that he doesn't have any adverse reactions! Having all this fun is serious business Mom, please don't bother me. Can't you see I've got playing to do?! So intriguing! Reading with Daddy is fun too. This Doctor Seuss guy is a wacko, but I like his style!
