Dan got himself...I mean, he got Jakob...an amazing Thomas the Train table, and Jakob has been obsessed with it! Impressive I'm awed by how cool this look It even came with new trains! Grandma brought Jakob a bag of plastic army men, and she buried them in the sand box for him to find.  He loved the treasure hunt! What do we have here?! I've found buried treasure AND completed a search and rescue mission Only big boys could handle all that excitement, and I look like a big boy in this picture Hurray!  We've saved Private Ryan and his crew!

Dan and Jakob left about an hour ago to visit the Halls in New York.  They'll be gone until Sunday afternoon, and already my heart is so sad because I miss my little man.  This will be the longest I've been away from him, and I know our Skype sessions later on won't suffice.  Sunday can't get here fast enough!! I miss you, Jakob Daniel!

Grandma and Grandpa Janelle came back this past weekend to play with Jakob and see Everleigh!  When Jakob woke from his nap after making cookies with Grandma, his first words were "I eat one bus cookie." Grandma brought me a lollipop.  Don't be fooled by my expression.  I was very happy and excited. "BUS COOKIES!" Grandpa holding his Evie Milk and cookies Hmm, which should I pick up next? Everleigh had her two month doctor's appointment yesterday, and she's doing great.  She didn't love the three shots and oral vaccine, but the doctor was very pleased with her growth and development.  She weighs 11 pounds, 7 ounces (between 50-75 percentile), she grew to 22.25 inches (50%), and her head size is in the 90% percentile!  Jakob gave her booboos kisses, which was incredibly sweet. My new socks are bad to the bone.  I better follow suit and do something naughty.  :-) Mommy tried to tape this door shut.  I just pulled the tape off. What do we have in here? Mmm, nothing like an M&M at 8:15 in the morning.  Better luck next time, Mommy!
