Grandma and Grandpa are giving me some snacks before I go home to Vermont One last time on the swings until the next visit Grandma is pushing me so high! What a busy weekend.  I'm tired.

We've upgraded Jakob's van car seat to a toddler seat, which eventually we'll have forward facing.  For now, he'll enjoy more space in a rear facing position.  Looks comfy!

Here are the handful of pictures I took at Kelly and Nis's perfect wedding.  Jakob spent most the time chasing his cousins Mikey and Jack, dancing in a circle on the dance floor, and bopping with his cousins Olivia and Aidan.  It was a wild night for the little man, and he was definitely the life of the party for as long as we were there. The only picture Mommy took of me in my formal attire.  Doesn't Grandma look so pretty? I'm in my pj's, but that won't stop me from dancing with Olivia and Aidan. I'm teaching Olivia the hokey pokey, seeing as that's what it's all about. Just bust a move! What is this glow stick all about? Give it back or else I'll pout! Don't mind the glazed look in my eyes.  I'm still having so much fun! This whole night has been perfect

Jakob, Dan, Andy, and Grandma had their first taste of Rita's Italian Ice over the weekend.  DELICIOUS...and sticky.  :-) What do you mean I need to be cleaned up before the wedding?!

We had a wonderful playdate with Stella the morning of the wedding.  Now that she's a big girl (two already!), she was great at sharing with Jakob, showing him how to use her toys, and giving me the grand tour of her bedroom.  I also got a chance to hold and snuggle Liz and Tom's new baby boy, Max.  He's such a handsome, alert little guy.  Once he gets a bit bigger, I'm sure he and Jakob will have a lot of fun playing too! I'm taking a quick break while we play in Stella's room Now we're playing kitchen Whew, good thing Stella is sharing a snack with me so I can keep my energy up Yummy! Is this a movie date?  How romantic! Snack time again! Allow me to share this cookie with you, pretty lady Waiter!  We'll share a bottle of your finest whole milk. Don't worry, Stella.  I'll get you home before your curfew. All that fun playing made me tired I'll just use Zoey as a leg rest...she's very soft and ...

I grew up a street away from a little park.  It's gone through periods of disrepair, but luckily for Jakob, it's in good shape right now.  He had lots of fun swinging and playing! Grandma is wiping down the slide for me so it isn't so wet I'm so excited One, two, three.... Catch me, Mommy! That was FAST and FUN! Look, an airplane! We spent the weekend in Newington for cousin Kelly's wedding.  Jakob was so thrilled to see his Aunt Karen and Uncle Andrew, who brought him two adorable shirts and a super fun dinosaur toy.  Unfortunately I was busy having fun the whole weekend, so I didn't take a very good representation of pictures (for instance, I have no good pictures of Jakob with Uncle Andy or Great Grandma, and nearly none of the wedding itself.)  Fortunately my good friend and very talented photographer Kim Miller (check out her website at www.kimberlymillerphotography.com ) took a lot of pictures of Jakob, so hopefully some time in the near future I'll have a bunch from that night.  Until then, enjoy a few days of posts about some of Jakob's adventures. Grandpa bought me a golf club!  When is tee time?! And Grandma gave me her old cell phone to play with.  This morning is off to a great start! All that golfing and talking has tuckered me out.  Good thing Zoey does...
