Grandma and Grandpa Hall came to visit us last weekend, and Sunday morning they helped the Easter Bunny out by hiding eggs in the backyard.  Jakob loved running around and finding the colorful eggs, and he DEFINITELY liked sampling some of the yummy candy inside. Got my bucket and my Thomas boots.  Bring it on, Easter Bunny! Help me out, Daddy I don't think this kind of egg shell is compostable, but I'm still excited to find it on the compost bin Hmm, something feels a bit off about the tree Nailed it That's not what bird eggs look like...must be another one from the Easter Bunny! So this happened over the weekend.  Talk about intimidating!  Also, I'm not sure how long the seats will last right next to each other.  I imagine we'll have to shift Jakob to the back seat at some point after he tries to feed his little sister some goldfish crackers or gives her a smack with a tractor.  Thanks to the Luttatis for sharing their extra baby seat with us so we can have one in each car!

Grandma Janelle came up for a couple of nights earlier this week to watch Jakob before and after daycare to give Dan and I a much needed break.  Well, Dan doesn't really need a break, he's his usual awesome father-self.  I, however, am huge and easily tired, so the break was much appreciated on my end.  Anyway, she also brought up a vintage train that I remember playing with as a kid, and Jakob adores it. Come with me, new train.  I'll show you around. That's Kenya, my favorite furry friend And there's my training potty.  Not sure if Mommy and Daddy intend for me to always go potty next to the TV in the living room, but it seems like a good set-up to me!
