Forever ago (mid-April!), Jakob had a school-wide art show and concert.  It was a chaotic scene at the end of a long day, with lots of tired kids and parents, but it was still adorable.  He had two pieces of art displayed, and his class performed a song about a dragon and its roar.  Jakob dabbed before they started, which got a chuckle from the crowd, and he didn't seem too interested in singing.  But we had a great time, and we could tell he was proud and excited when he looked out and found us sitting and waving in the crowd.

That smile says it all!  Happy fourth birthday to our tiny but mighty baby doll.  She's a force to be reckoned with and has a heart of gold...the light of our lives.  We love you, Everleigh Grace!

Jakob wanted to invite his whole class to his party this year (how inclusive!), so we rented the field house of our gym to give them a big space to play in.  Only three of his classmates were unable to attend, so with four non-school families invited, we had nearly 30 kids in attendance.  It was chaotic but in a good way, and all the kids had a blast.  Jakob was so happy with it, which was our goal.
