Stormy Weather

It's fun to watch storms roll in now that we've got an elevated vantage point!

Our kids loooove being naked in the backyard!  I'm not a fan of posting pictures of them totally in the buff, but here's one of Everleigh most of the way there.

Jakob Potty Training Update

Our little man is a peeing pro these days.  It's been almost a month since we told him we ran out of diapers and he started wearing big boy underwear fulltime.  He loves nature peeing and will happily do it anywhere (backyard = good, middle of downtown Burlington = less good, but we're working on that), and he's getting better at using the potty when we're away from home.  Yesterday he used it while at the movies with Grandma and Grandpa Janelle!  He still needs his pullups for going #2, but with one exception at the very beginning he hasn't had any nighttime accidents.  Way to go, Jakob, literally!

Everleigh Milestone: Bottom Molars!

I haaaaaate teething, and I'm not even the one going through all the pain!  Fortunately Everleigh's two bottom molars are both through the gums now (and have been for about a week, but I'm behind with blogging), so we're nearing the end of the big push in terms of teeth.  She still needs to get the top and bottom set of canine teeth, and I've read those can be painful too, but the end is in sight.  Woohoo!

It Don't Mean a Thing If It Ain't Got that Swing

Picking Blueberries

Image
I'm not the birthday girl, but I am the blueberry girl! I'm determined to pick berries! Look at all of these! YUM Daddy can't fill his basket when I'm eating them as quickly as he can pick them Toss it in! I'm going to eat this one, and this one... ...and this one, and this one... Slight difference in ability to get the berries in the baskets I found a very hungry caterpillar!

Sprinkler!

Image
Got to love warm summer weather!  We've been spending lots of time on the shores of Lake Champlain and the Waterbury Reservoir and playing in sprinklers.  As you can see, Jakob absolutely loves the sprinkler.  Everleigh...well, not so much.  This might make me a slightly bad parent, but I can't stop laughing at the last picture in this post.
