Happy 11 month birthday to our beautiful baby doll!  I've got no chance of getting her to sit still for a more typical monthly birthday picture, because all she wants to do is scoot around, pull up to standing, and then hold fingers to walk around.  :-)

Grandma and Grandpa Janelle came up for Easter this year, and we enjoyed our first truly glorious weather the Friday of Easter weekend.  We figured the Easter Bunny wouldn't mind if we did the kids' egg hunt on Friday instead of Sunday, which was much colder.  When Jakob woke from his nap, he was quick to snap out of his usual daze to search for the Bunny's eggs! Looking for the Easter Bunny Is that one over there? I'm ready to go on a hunt Did the Bunny plant extra eggs in our garden? What do you know?!  There are M&Ms in some of these eggs! This one has blue play doh! I see another one! Got it I like putting the eggs into my basket The Bunny was very tricky with his hiding places Any under the deck? Oh how wonderful!  These have stickers! I might need a bigger bucket Thanks for helping me, Grandma I like Easter

Never in a million years would I expect both kids to love miso soup made with tofu.  They couldn't get enough! I don't even care that I have tofu all over my face, that's how much I liked it Down the hatch

I share Mommy's enthusiasm for the non-snowy months I'm going to put that in my mouth

...Everleigh and I will play!  We were both a little under the weather with colds, but we kept very busy and had a ton of fun.  Highlights included going to the pool, checking out the syrup at the Audubon's annual Sugarhouse Open House, and trying out the swing at the playground for the first time. I've been busy working on my pulling up skills Oh, hi Mommy.  Let's do something fun. Not much sap in this bucket yet How festive! There's a first time for everything Fearlessly taking a taste What the heck?!  Why haven't I had this before?! A fine day for a swing, but my new hat from Saratoga was very necessary
