Jakob spent lots of time watching the trucks move around at the town garage yesterday. Look at the big trucks and tractors! What do you mean I can't go play on them? Fine, I suppose I can be content just watching them

Uncle Scott and Aunt Anne got Jakob an early birthday gift, and he loves it! I'm on cruise control BEEP!
2 + 2 = 4!
Jakob's 4th tooth broke through the gum today! In honor of this momentous occasion, I took him for a stroller ride after dinner while Dan was at firefighting training. We enjoying listening to the peepers (first time they've been out in Huntington this season, and it was sweet music to our ears) and the warm southern breeze.
Playing with Gramps
Gram and Gramps came to visit Jakob this weekend. Although the weather was less than excellent, we still had a most excellent time playing, eating out, and spending time with them! Can you see my third tooth, Gramps? Got your hat! Make sure to tighten the straps around Hemingway Be careful, Gramps, Hemingway bites I bite too, but only on my teething toys
These Zuts were Made for Walking
Jakob gets better and better (and faster...look out pets!) at walking with his toy on a daily basis. He struts back and forth from one end of the house to the other, usually yelling with delight the whole time. He's gotten a few extremely minor bumps along the way, but he's typically so excited about walking and cruising that it doesn't phase him. I'm going to wear out the soles of my Zutano booties at this rate Eat my dust! Look out, Mommy This is waaaaay better than crawling
