I've been in a bit of football postseason withdrawal since we cancelled Dish Network to save some money, so we decided to go to Buffalo Wild Wings on Sunday evening for dinner and to catch some of the Pats game.  Sadly the Pats won, but that didn't stop us from having a great time.  Jakob was totally mesmerized by all the TVs, noises, and people...too funny! Go Giants!  Go Steelers!  Go Saints!  Wait....none of my teams made the playoffs?  Remind me again how long it is until pitchers and catchers report to spring training. Just shovel the food into my mouth.  I'm too busy watching TV to care. Maybe I can take my eyes away from the screen during commercials to grab that puff on the table I'm the King of the Wings!

Nana and Grandpa Hall came to visit us this weekend (as did Jakob's first January thaw)!  We had such a wonderful time playing with Jakob, who just couldn't stop laughing and smiling.  It was a perfect weekend! He hasn't done it completely yet, but Jakob is getting closer and closer to pulling himself up to the standing position.  He really likes practicing it in his little tub, but he's getting ideas about the couch too. Are you ready to see my try to pull myself up? Here I go!  Better move this blanket soon, Mommy. HAHAHA!  Fooled you!  I'm not quite ready yet....but soon.

Jakob loves his baths, and he can be such a goofball during them! Rubber ducky, you are indeed "the one" for making bath time lots of fun You also make teething lots of fun, which is a highly underrated perk Mommy says duck is delicious.  Tastes kind of like rubber to me.  Delicious rubber.

Yesterday was blue day at daycare, and since I had a heads up about it, we got Jakob dressed appropriately.  How fitting that he would be there for orange and blue days....Gettysburg colors! It may be blue day, but I'm feeling rather cheery Nothing beats a good profile pic once in a while Can you guess what I'm look at? Why don't you get a little closer, Kenya? I like celebrating colors!
