Cora's Birthday Party

Image
Everleigh and I stayed home while Dan and Jakob went to visit the Halls in part because Jakob had Monday off and Everleigh didn't, and in part because we had already accepted an invitation to Everleigh's friend Cora's birthday party.  Some of her other friends from school were there, including Charlotte and Luna.  They had such a blast dancing together and eating an indoor picnic.  Everleigh really loved the body painting.

Egg Hunt

Image
Thanks to super warm temps and sunny skies, as well as Dan and Jakob's plans to go to NY the next morning, the Easter Bunny decided to come Friday evening to hide eggs in our yard.  The kids had a blast running around looking for them, and almost as much fun opening them up inside.

Jakob's Preschool Breakfast

Image
This morning Jakob's teachers hosted a breakfast for students and their families.  While I was there, Jakob enjoyed some fresh fruit and a mini muffin.  Dan showed up when I was leaving, and apparently at some point after that Jakob also had a bagel with cream cheese.  It was so much fun!

Trimming the Beard

Image
Dan trimmed his beard up a couple of weeks ago.  He still has substantial facial cover, and I would say it's a much improved look for him.

Snow Ice Cream

Image
What do you do when you get about three feet of snow in two days?   Make snow ice cream, of course!  So easy, and soooo yummy!  (8 cups of clean snow, 1 cup of milk, 1/3 cup sugar, 1 teaspoon vanilla...stir)
